It gratifies me to know that this organization exists. One day, there may be an organization that supports those Veterans who served this Country with valor, yet remain unacknowledged as the heroes they are and were, w/o Benefits, the Support, Respect, Honor, and Care owed them by what is conglomerately recognized by so many as the greatest Country in the World. There are literally untold numbers of men And women who have served in the U.S. Military as Top Secret (+) Operatives, and due only to this fact, have had all record of Service expunged. How many ever so much as think of this group as real, as present in our midst, w/o the VA to turn to; w/o Vet Centers; VFWs; Give An Hour Treatment; Etc., ETC…
Watching the video of the Pagent Queen, I was brought to tears of gratitude for this avenue, this vehicle for many Veterans to join one another openly, acknowledging their own and each other’s accomplishments past and yet to be; sharing ideas and resources to uncap their potential as individuals, and as a Group… This, surprisingly to many, is a Luxury not available to all Veterans. Too many suffer alone. Too many, in all likelihood make the “known”/reported # of Military Veteran Suicides of 22 Daily an even smaller, rougher number than is actually the case.
If the U.S. Government can, has, and does, so meticulously irradicate all evidence external to some Veterans hidden personal experiences, memories, flashbacks, and other to oft undiagnosed or misdiagnosed &/or untreated ailments of human body-mind-spirits, how is it that they cannot see fit to use that same brilliance used to hide the truth about some of their/our activities, to make sure these far too long hidden and denied Veterans get all of the help needed, mand due them as well, as completely, as professionally, as ANY OTHER VETERAN AND HIS OR HER FAMILY MEMBERS, perhaps creating a different story for how they served, a bit like the Witness Protection Program, only in this area, allowing such Veterans to avail themselves and their relations/ loved ones of full access to Veterans Services, hopefully helping each to live longer, fuller, healthier, more joyous, full, more, active lives, better able to continue serving this Country in a multitude of ways when not held back by the trauma, compounding any others, of being denied recognition of, respect And assistance for such an impactful part of each life touched by active Military Service, including Family Members.
It is my hope that we, as a group might call attention to this not merely underrepresented group of Heroes (male & female), but to this heretofore UNrepresented group among U.S. Military Veterans and their Families. Aside from that, I look forward to finding encouragement and empowerment as much as to giving these gifts from the heart to others. God Bless You! God Bless us all!
    Most Sincerely, Ro
