USC @ San Diego Campus to Host Women Vets ROCK! Day on Campus
Women Veterans ROCK! West Coast Region Director Stephanie Baker-Jones (MAJ USAR RET) is pleased to announce a new partnership between Women Veterans ROCK! and the University of Southern California in San Diego, California.
This year, Women Veterans ROCK! is celebrating five years of working with Women Veterans, Military Spouses and Girls in Military Families with the launch of its new signature program, “Women Veterans ROCK! Day on Campus.”
The Women Veterans ROCK! On Campus event for the University of Southern California will take place on Thursday, April 9, 2015 between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. in Room D of the USC Academic Center located at 16870 West Bernardo Drive #200, San Diego, CA 92127.
The University of Southern California at San Diego is proud to support to women veterans! Women Veterans ROCK! would like to acknowledge US Air Force Veteran Stephanie Suggs, University of Southern California 2016 MSW Candidate, for her support in coordinating this event.

The WVR West Coast Region has engaged Women Veterans along the American West Coast by participating in the All American Pageant & The Ms. Armed Forces All-American Pageant, and the Women in Education Conference at Cal State Fullerton.
The women veterans on the West Coast are active volunteers, serving in the Veterans Home of Chula Vista in Chula Vista, California during the holiday season. Since its launch in 2013, the West Coast Region has hosted “Get to Know Us” events in San Diego, and their own Women Veterans ROCK! Veterans Day Rally.
Retired U.S. Army Veteran Stephanie Baker-Jones RN, MSN/Ed., MATLT, FNPc is currently teaching for Kaplan College in the Associate Degree Nursing Program and for University of Phoenix’s in the College of Nursing. At this time, she is taking a LOA from Southwestern College while she completes her clinical courses for her MSN/FNP.
