The WVCLI teaches participants tools, tips and techniques to aid them as New Civic & Community Leaders. You will engage with diverse networks of Community Leaders.

The Women Veterans Civic Leadership Institute, (WVCLI), presents America’s Military Women with the perfect opportunity to transform their Can-Do-Spirit of Military Service into a Can-Do-Spirit of Civic Leadership and Civilian Community Service. The core curriculum of The WVCLI is uniquely designed for Today’s Military Women seeking to become agents of positive social change for Military Women and Military Families.

Paticipant Eligibility

You are eligible to participate in the Civic Leadership Fellowship Program if you are a Woman Veteran; Active Duty Servicewoman; Reservist; National Guard; Military Spouse; Military Widow, Military Mom; a ROTC Cadet Girl (age 16+) in a Military Family; or any adult female member of a Military Family from any era.

How To Register To Attend 

It’s easy to apply to attend The Women Veterans Civic Leadership Institute.  Applicants must complete our online “Participant Profile” — After Payment In Full For The Fall Semester.  The Open Enrollment & Payment Period for The Fall 2018 Semester begins on July 1, 2018.  There is no application fee.

Payments & Fees

The Women Veterans Civic Leadership Institute is a tuition-based fellowship program.  The generous support of partners, sponsors and private donors enables The WVCLI to provide this premier series of civic leadership training and education at a fraction of the true market value of other professional leadership development programs for professional women.

Phase I – The Fundamentals of Civic Leadership For Today’s Military Women  – $125.00 2-Day Core Intensive at The Women Veterans Summer Leadership Weekend Retreat At Chestnut Hill College located in the beautiful and historic district of Chestnut Hill in Philadelphia, PA.  All materials are included.

Phase II – The Women Veterans Civic Leadership Workshop Series.   $425.00 Civic Leadership Training & Education Series  which consists of 4 One-Day Series of Intensive Workshops – Phase II is a Fall Semester Workshop Series including 4 one-day intensive workshop series; case study analysis; and expert guest lecturers embedded in this unique post-military Civic Leadership Incubator.  The Women Veteran Civic Leadership Workshop Series operates during the Fall Semester from September to December.  All materials are included.

Phase III – The Civic Leaders One Day In-Service Fellowship$35.00 One Day Civic Leaders In-Service Fellowship To Capitol Hill – Phase III provides participants with the unique honor to join us on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC as “Registered Delegates” or as “Guest Delegates” of The Women Veterans 2020 Delegation(c) To Washington, DC. Participants will exercise various roles in the annual “Women Veterans Public Policy Day on Capitol Hill.” Light refreshments and materials included.

Phase IV – The WVCLI National Alumni Association.   $125.00 National Alumni Association – Phase IV is membership in The WVCLI National Alumni Association.  Our Alumni Association is a national network of leading professional Military Women & Advocates for Military Women committed to the advancement of Today’s Military Women as Tomorrow’s Civic & Community Leaders.  Alumni Association Membership offers program discounts; press and speakers bureau opportunities; and access to the Alumni Association National Referral Network.
